Weekend Training - Next Week’s Practices
It is official and on the KHSAA site.. WE ARE HOSTING REGIONALS THIS YEAR! This means a lot of fine touch finishing on course work, but is such a blessing for our program! The athletes worked hard in yesterdays workout - Make sure they either take today or tomorrow off, with the other day being a 25 minute easy consistent run for high school, 20 minutes for middle school and 15 minutes for elementary. Next week we will practice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 4:15-5:30, with Varsity having an easy group run on Friday together, by themselves! I would really like to have a course clean up day again on Tuesday after practice if at all possible. It would be greatly beneficial if we could have parents out for an hour with clippers / lawn tools to clean tree limbs and stobs off of the course. KHSAA is coming to inspect the course sometime soon and we intend on having it as clean as possible when they come. Make sure your kiddos get an easy run one day this weekend and rest the other day.
